What an amazing weekend had by all involved in The Acoustic Festival of Britain, from the organisers, traders, artists, bands and most of all the fabulous festival goers.
A super venue, Uttoxeter Race Course, fantastic bands including Migure…for those old enough to remember him, cold be
er, comedians, crafts and as if that wasn’t enough the whole weekend was bathed in glorious sunshine from the second set up started to the very last person driving off site ~ perfect!
2016 adopted the fabulous and intriguing Steampunk theme, Tea Duels and the odd low flying scone were a regular happening! The Steampunk crew entertained the festival with their eccentric dress, fabulous music and their general presense.
The Live Lounge, a new addition to the festival for 2016 offered a smaller more intimate stage for the performers, proving very popular.
The camping area was fantastic with only a 2 minute walk to the festival entrance lit up with festoon lighting all around provided by the fabulous Resource Energy.
For those who wanted to rock up to the festival dump their bags and get in to the festival as soon as possible there was a little village of pre erected bell tents with beds, tables, bunting & fairy lights provided by us of course ~ Village Belles. We loved every second of the festival from setting up through to taking it down in the 30 degree heat!!!
Put next year in your diary now, 2nd ~ 4th June 2017, it’s already lining up to be a great event once again, don’t miss out…and the festival organisers are offering Early Bird tickets…
A huge thank you to our fabulous team, Tom & Co, Phoebe & Wendy, you were all amazing and we couldn’t have done it with you ;0) …and Addhire for our fabulous van!
…until next year…
